The Shops of RedBird provide community resources that address societal disparities, welcoming esteemed educational partners to campus. From the early childhood learning center with Vogel Alcove to innovative entrepreneurial support at DEC RedBird, we are a place for innovation, growth, and education.

Located at new Shops at RedBird, Dallas College will identify and deliver entry-level training options for middle-skills employment in high-demand career pathway sectors of manufacturing, health science, information technology, transportation, aviation, and distribution and logistics, along with flexible and responsive training that can evolve and adapt to the workforce needs in south Dallas.

The DEC at Redbird is a 20,000 SF, state-of-the-art incubation center, primarily offers membership and co-working services to Southern Dallas entrepreneurs. They also give entrepreneurs access to education, mentorship, and advocacy resources through a variety of events and programming to help entrepreneurs start, build, and grow their businesses.

Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas (WFSDallas) is a quasi-governmental and non-profit organization. Funded by federal grants and private money, WFSDallas is one of the largest nonprofits in Dallas. Government funding sources have included Texas Workforce Commission, and the U.S. Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services,

Jarvis Christian University is a historically Black institution affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), offering degrees at the associate, baccalaureate, and master’s levels.

The Shops at RedBird partner with Vogel to open a new 15,000-square-foot childcare facility at RedBird. The new space will have the capacity to serve 134 children aged six weeks through Pre-K and their families. Employees of any company in The Shops at RedBird complex will have priority placement and working families supported by Vogel, with remaining spots open to all southern Dallas families.
